Siberian smooth-bellied sturgeon
The Siberian smooth-bellied sturgeon also known as the Acipenser baerii.
The Baerri sturgeon can reach a length of up to 200 cm.
Typical of this fish is its long pointed snout. These fish are very active. They swim both on the bottom of the fishpond and at the water surface, but scavenge only on the bottom. The Siberian smooth-bellied sturgeon is a popular fish for the caviar world.
Often best caught on pellets, herring or cheese.
It is advisable to also make a small feeding spot around 2-3 metres from the shore.
